Abel Care and Support Services
Abel Care and Support offer flexible long and short term packages :

- Medication Support
Our team can enable the person we support to take their medication in a safe and timely manner, we actively promote independence with medication but understand it can become confusing and easy to forget.
Our trained and competent staff can assist with prompting ,observing and if required and as part of a care plan, we can assist in medication administration.

- Personal Care- Meal preparation, General house keeping and assistance
Providing the support with personal care, or help with daily living activities and other practical tasks, whilst actively promoting independence.

- Companionship

- Support to access the community
Abel Care And Support are able to assist the people we support attend activities, hospital/ medical appointments, education and social activities. Abel Care and Support Limited also use our excellent local links to organise social events and activities within our local area to build social links and promote independence.

- Reablement
Providing personal care, or help with daily living activities and other practical tasks, usually for up to six weeks, reablement encourages people we support to develop the confidence and skills to promote independence, so they are confident to carry out these activities themselves and continue to live at home.

- Respite Care
We will tailor a support package for short term/respite care, this is generally a set period of days, given in advance. At Abel Care and Support we can offer a package to suit and continuity of support team.​

- 24 hour support
24 hour or Live-in care from Abel Care And Support Ltd is a full-time care at home service which allows you, or your loved one, to stay at home in familiar and relaxed surroundings with an incomparable level of one to one support.
​
We believe, the right support package with personal care if required, assistance to access the community, housekeeping and companionship, is a direct alternative to residential care. Live in support empowers you to retain control and independence.
​
Your care is arranged on your terms. Your professional live-in carer works with you to meet your personal needs, goals and desired outcomes, following an individually designed support plan. All people we support and/or their advocates are fully involved in the care planning process. You can rest assured that our team will respond to your changing needs
Experience has shown us that finding the right person to support you is the most important factor in getting it right and we offer you to meet your support worker/support team prior to the commencement of any service and to involve you in the recruitment if you wish.

- Emergency or Crisis Care
Someone may only require support for a short period of time and it is often unforeseen.
Abel Care always respond quickly to needs and requirements and offer a consultation and assessment within 24 hours of contact.
This service may be required in situations such as a break down in current care situation or the main carer having been taken ill or unable to give care for whatever reason.

Abel Care and Support Limited offer competitive rates and tailor our care packages around the individual, therefore rates may vary due to locality and individual needs and requirements.

If you receive a personal budget from social services to pay for care or support you can still use us as your service provider.
